An impressive collection of classic Renault models are currently up for sale in the UK and if you’re a fan of the French brand, we’ll forgive you if you need a moment to yourself.

In total, the collection consists of 12 vehicles that were all previously part of the Renault UK heritage collection, and to celebrate the auctions going live, Chris Harris had the opportunity to check out all of them in person.

Arguably the highlight of the Collecting Cars auction is a 2005 Clio V6 Phase 2. The car was formerly used as a press vehicle by Renault UK and is one of just 18 in the country to be painted in Liquid Yellow. It has been driven just 14,963 miles (24,080 km) since leaving the factory and has been exceptionally well maintained throughout the years. During the second half of the video, Harris drives the car and is immediately reminded of just how good it is as he had one as a long-term press car back in 2004.

The collection includes another especially desirable Clio, namely a 2005 Clio 182 Trophy. Widely considered as one of the greatest hot hatches ever produced, the Clio 182 Trophy is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder with 182 hp and this example was also used as a press car. Making it particularly special is that it is chassis #001 and like all others, is finished in Capsicum Red.

There are three other track-focused weapons on the collection, consisting of chassis #001 2008 Megane R26.R, chassis #000 2008 Megane R26.R, and chassis #001 2015 Megane RS 275 Trophy R. All cars were formerly used as press vehicles, and each has been well maintained and have under 21,000 miles (~34,000 km) on their odometers.

A number of other classic Renault models are included in the collection. These include a 1985 4 GTL, a 1985 5, a 1991 Clio 1.4 RT, a 2000 Clio 1.2 Grande Phase 1, a 1997 Sport Spider, a 2007 Clio 1.4 Dynamique, and a 1977 Alpine A110 Berlinette 1600SX.
