A number of wrecked 2022 Toyota GR 86 and 2022 Subaru BRZ models have started to appear on Copart and while the duo are already well-priced from the showroom, now could be the time to snap up a bargain.
At the time of writing, Copart had listed five damaged Toyota GR 86s up for auction, as well as a single 2022 BRZ. The damage sustained to the cars varies from totally destroyed and unrepairable to some that may need a few new components to return to the streets.

One 2022 GR 86 that will never return to the streets is a dark blue example located in San Bernadino, California. It has suffered extensive damage across the front, rear, both sides, and the roof, indicating that it rolled multiple times. Another example to have suffered quite a lot of damage is a black GR 86 in North Boston, Massachusetts. It was clearly involved in a front-end collision with the hood and bumper badly damaged.
A bright blue example with very similar damage will soon be offered up for auction in Tampa South, Florida. Like the car in North Boston, it has extensive front end damage and has 2,905 miles (4,675 km) on the clock.
A black GR 86 is available in Grantville, Pennsylvania. Viewed from the front, it appears perfectly fine but both rear quarter panels have suffered damage. The damage done to the driver’s side rear is particularly bad with the wheel and tire destroyed, indicating some serious suspension issues. Similarly, there is also a blue GR 86 listed in Portland South, Oregan with damage to the driver’s side rear quarter panel and wheel.
As for the sole 2022 Subaru BRZ listed by Copart, it can be found in Jacksonville South, Florida and has a wrecked front end and badly damaged driver’s side.
