The first 500 people who reserved the all-new 2023 Acura Integra may be in for some fun, but they won’t be in for much funge. That’s because, along with those vehicles, they will get a form of digital receipt known as an NFT. Spoiler alert, Acura said that it received more than 500 reservations since the order books opened on Thursday, March 10.
The NFT will be associated with an artwork featuring surreal textures and colors designed by Andreas Wannerstedt, a Swedish 3D artist who recently worked with Lamborghini for a series of posters it commissioned.
Acura’s first non-fungible token, the uh… lucky customers who order the Integra today will first be given a chance to claim a base image (pictured above), which will be upgraded into what Acura describes as a “unique Integra NFT” upon delivery of their vehicle.

Completing its unseemly courtship of crypto bros and people who made vaping a big part of their identities, Acura also announced today that it will be opening a meta dealership. I regret to inform you that Acura of Decentraland will be opening on March 22 and you can visit it at acuraverse.com.
The virtual showroom will allow visitors to explore the 2023 Integra and its key features. They’ll also be able to browse the new Integra branded collection of clothing, which was also designed in partnership with Wannerstedt. They will also be able to Acura’s very own racing game “Beat That.”
Orders opened for the production version of the Acura Integra today, which starts at around $30,000 and is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque.
