There’s a hissing sound coming from Dearborn, but this time it’s not from a Cobra.
Quite the opposite as Ford CEO Jim Farley has taken to social media to announce the all-new F-150 Rattler.
There’s little word on what the snake charmers are up too, but Farley confirmed the truck will be unveiled tomorrow and promised this is one “rattler you’ll be excited to see on the trail.” That’s a bit cryptic, but it sounds like the Rattler will be an off-road focused pickup.

That remains to be seen, but Ford has been expanding their adventure-ready lineup with models such as the F-150 Tremor. More recently, the company has introduced Timberline versions of the Explorer and Expedition.
It remains unclear how extreme the truck will be, but the F-150 Rattler will likely slot beneath the Tremor and Raptor. The former starts at $52,235 and comes standard with four-wheel drive as well as matte black 18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch General Grabber tires.
The Tremor also has an off-road focused suspension with retuned springs, unique shocks, new front knuckles, and revised upper control arms. Thanks to those updates, the truck has an additional 1-1.5 inches (25-38 mm) of suspension travel.
Those aren’t the only upgrades as the F-150 Tremor boasts a locking rear differential and a Raptor-style bash plate. Other highlights include Active Orange accents, recovery hooks, and a dual exhaust system.
