We’ve all made mistakes while driving a car but erring in a motor vehicle while directly in front of a law enforcement officer is one of the worst ways to do it. In a recently released video, one driver found himself in exactly that situation and ended up not just on the side of the road, but, possibly, in jail. Did we mention that he made these bone-headed moves while driving on a suspended license?
There’s no word on exactly who the driver in question is or exactly how long his license has been out of order but none of that really matters with regard to his behavior. On the night of February 12, he was trundling down the highway in a two-tone red and white Ford Flex when he decided to speed and tailgate right in front of a cop.
Neither activity seemed particularly pleasing to the officer as he began the interaction with said driver by saying “Driver’s license!… Is there any reason that I shouldn’t arrest you right now?”

To be fair, the driver was piloting his dapper Flex down the road in a far less than professional manner. As the video begins, the Ford is in the far right lane (lane three in this case) tailgating a car, then switches one lane to the left and does the same thing to another vehicle before speeding off in the far left lane.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the real problem for many of us might be the fact that the fast lane is open the entire time that we see the Ford Flex. It seems he’s shooting for an upcoming exit and instead of simply going around the other cars or slowing down and patiently waiting for the exit at a safe speed, he chose to behave like he did.
It’s a simple and easy lesson: don’t be a rude person on the road. This guy couldn’t keep his attitude and his driving habits in check and it cost him not just a few bucks but, maybe, a night in jail as well. Once the officer knew that his license was suspended it seemed that there was no other possible outcome.
