One dealer network in Canada has decided to celebrate the 10th anniversary of McLaren Automotive opening up in the nation. To do so, it ordered 10 examples of the 720S supercar with a unique package from McLaren Special Operations. The package is known as the Canada 10th Anniversary MSO 1/10.
Seven units will be convertible Spyders and the other three will be coupes. The dealer at the heart of the limited run is Pfaff Automotive Partners and they’ve gone a long way to include lots of little Easter eggs that tie McLaren to Canada.
The wheels are painted in a dark Stealth finish and the Pure Black paint is a subtle nod to the country’s first McLaren, an MP4-12C. The orange exterior accents honor McLaren’s Can-Am racing victories dating back to 1967. Of course, no Canadian package could be complete without a maple leaf and you’ll find one in the stripe on the hood.

“We are so excited to celebrate the legacy of McLaren in Canada, with a nearly-unbroken string of wins in the legendary Can-Am series, and 13 Formula 1 wins, McLaren has always set an incredibly high benchmark for performance in Canada.” said Christopher Pfaff, President & CEO of Pfaff Automotive Partners, McLaren’s Canadian importer.
“With three retail points in Canada, and over 1,000 McLaren cars sold, the brand has gone from strength to strength on Canadian roads as well,” he added. “These 10 special 720S celebrate both legacies, and give our Canadian customers something special to get excited about.”
Many desirable options that are available on any other 720S are included in this short run of cars. That includes the electrochromic glazed roof, which I can personally tell you should be considered a requirement in sunny settings. It also gets the Performance Pack with its Pirelli Corsa tires.
This might not be as bonkers as a McLaren Sabre with a color-changing paint job but it’s still a special package that should appeal to Canadian customers. All three McLaren dealerships across Canada, located in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver will have access to the Canada 10th Anniversary editions.
