Subaru has just unveiled a special variant of the Levorg dubbed the Takuty Special Edition and set to be sold exclusively through Subaru Tokyo.
The car commemorates the 2021 Super GT champion in the GT300 class Takuto Iguchi who races a modified Subaru BRZ. Just 30 units of the Levorg Takuty Special Edition will be built, each outfitted with parts from the Subaru Customize Shop at the Subaru Tokyo site.
The car will be offered in two guises, the first equipped with a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and the second sporting a more powerful 2.4-liter turbocharged four. Both variants have then been adorned with a plethora of additional STI parts that make them stand out.

Among these parts is an STI front splitter, unique side skirts, and a diffuser at the rear. The Levorg Takuty Special Edition also sports a new STI badge on the black front grille and sits on black 19-inch Enkei wheels wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050+ tires. Customers can also choose to have a small Takuty decal applied to the rear of the car.
A handful of tweaks have also been made to the interior of the Levorg. These include a unique shift knob finished in carbon fiber, a leather key case, and distinctive side sills. Subaru has also fitted the car with a Prova motion control beam that is said to control roll and stress at the front and rear ends of the car to improve handling.
Prices for the Subaru Levorg Takuty Special Edition starts at 4,961,000 yen ($42,943) for the 1.8-liter STI Sport EX variant and rise to 5,610,000 yen ($48,561) for the STI Sport R EX.
