The tuning experts over at Techart have unveiled a series of upgrades developed for the new Porsche 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring.
The offerings start with a number of new carbon fiber parts. At the front, Techart has designed an enlarged lip spoiler for the 911 GT3 while also bathing the grille surround in carbon fiber. There is also a new carbon fiber hood, wing mirrors, and wheel arch louvers very similar to those of the 991-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

Elsewhere, Techart has developed carbon fiber side skirts for the sports car and a new carbon rear wing with uniquely-shaped endplates to aid in aerodynamic performance. A carbon fiber air intake has also been incorporated into the trunk lid. Like other tuning programs offered by Techart, those looking to spruce up their 911 GT3 or 911 GT3 Touring can opt for matte carbon, high-gloss carbon, or forged carbon.
A new set of wheels have also been developed for the sports car. These forged wheels have a unique ‘turbine’ design and measure 20×9.5 at the front and 21×12 at the rear. These same wheels, albeit slightly narrower, are also available to owners of 911 Carrera GTS models.
Various interior updates are also available. These include a thoroughly revised steering wheel clad in new pieces of leather and Alcantara. Techart also offers loads of carbon fiber trimmings.
Techart has not yet revealed any powertrain upgrades for the 911 GT3 but that’s no bad thing. After all, the 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six has proven itself time and time again to be one of the finest combustion engines of any current production car.
