With roughly 1,500 on tap, the Bugatti Chiron offers truly insane levels of performance. However, this 1970 Chevrolet Camaro also pumps out 1,500 hp and might be even more remarkable.
This particular Camaro has been comprehensively modified by Roadster Shop, the same company that built a bespoke Camaro for Joe Rogan not too long ago. While Rogan’s Camaro has 850 hp, this example delivers almost double that and makes for an absolutely wild ride.

Found at the heart of this Camaro is a 427-cubic inch V8 from Nelson Racing Engines that is supported by a pair of 73 mm turbochargers. Each of the eight cylinders has two fuel injectors and coupled to the engine is a 4L80 transmission with a manual valve body shifter, making it slightly more engaging to drive than a typical automatic.
Underpinning the car is a bespoke chassis built by Roadster Shop that can handle all 1,500 horses while also making the Camaro much more rigid and enjoyable to drive. Roadster Shop has also fitted it with adjustable Fox shocks at all four corners. Making the car stand out even further is the fact that it sits incredibly low. The team that built the car also managed to drop the floor by roughly 4 inches, meaning that the driver and passenger sit very low in the leather-clad Recaro CS Sportster seats.
Any car with big levels of power also needs big brakes so Roadster Shop has equipped the car with 14-inch Brembo brakes at all four corners. These brakes sit behind a set of custom HRE wheels.
