We know the new Ford Bronco is a very capable off-roader and the owner of a new Badlands variant recently decided to see if the off-roader is as good at performing big jumps as it is climbing over rocks.

There’s no doubt that Ford tested the new Bronco in all kinds of conditions during its development. However, we’re fairly confident in saying that it didn’t perform any huge jumps with it. As it turns out, not even a 43-foot jump can stop the Bronco.

Like so many other YouTube videos, the first 10-and-a-half minutes simply serve as a lead-up to the eventual jump and show the dirt jump in detail, as well as the large landing ramp. The jump and the ramp ended up being built absolutely perfectly, allowing the Bronco to fly across the gap and then make a very comfortable landing.

No damage seems to have been done to the Bronco and the YouTuber measures the jump at a cool 43.5 feet. Given how smooth everything looked, we suspect the off-roader could jump even further if anyone is brave enough to construct an even larger jump.

As capable as the new Ford Bronco is, the newly-announced Raptor promises to take its off-road prowess to all new heights. It is 9.8-inches (25 cm) wider than the standard model and sports new shock towers to increase wheel travel. Ford has also equipped the Bronco Raptor with new control arms, larger-diameter inner and outer tie rod ends, as well as semi-active FOX dampers with integrated reservoirs up front and remote reservoirs at the rear.
