Not long after a low-mileage E46 BMW M3 sold for $83,000 at auction, a 2003 model with equally few miles under its belt has hit the market with a $79,900 asking price.
This BMW M3 has been listed up for sale through Sky Motor Cars in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and has only been driven 7,563 miles (12,171 km). That’s nothing for a car that is almost 20 years old and goes some way to explaining the high price tag.

The car is finished in a color dubbed Carbon Black Metallic and continues to rock its original 19-inch double-spoke forged aluminum wheels. This paint is contrasted by Gray Nappa leather and key features include a sunroof, GPS system, 8-way power-adjustable front seats with memory function, and a Harmon Kardon sound system.
All E46 M3s are powered by BMW’s beloved 3.2-liter naturally-aspirated inline-six with independent throttle bodies and pumping out 333 hp and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) of torque back in the day. However, $79,900 is a lot of money. In fact, a brand new BMW M3 Competition can be purchased for $72,800 which seems like a relative bargain given all the extra performance and luxury it offers. But then again, there’s that small issue with the new model’s face…
