A 1994 Mazda RX-7 comprehensively modified by Japanese tuner RE Amemiya is currently up for auction on eBay.
While RE Amemiya may not ring a bell for all readers, the tuner has been around since 1974 and in addition to tuning a number of Japanese cars, has a successful racing history in the Land of the Rising Sun.
The listing claims this RX-7 is the only one of its kind in the United States fitted with a FEED widebody kit and is apparently one of just 12 models tuned and modified by RE Amemiya. Some of the changes made to the car are particularly interesting, especially the fact that it appears to have taken its headlights directly from the Nissan 370Z.

Other visual alterations really make the Mazda stand out. For example, the front end has a striking front splitter and the car sits on a set of 20-inch Volk Racing wheels fitted with 245 mm tires at the front and 275 mm ones at the rear.
The FEED widebody kit also sports striking air louvers on the front quarter panels while at the rear are particularly wide fenders. The sports car also has a completely overhauled rear end with a new decklid, a large rear wing, centrally-mounted tailpipes, a bespoke diffuser, and aftermarket taillights from an RX-8.
The seller adds that the car has undergone a number of mechanical modifications. For example, there are new 2500 cc primary fuel injectors, 1500 cc secondary injectors, a Walbro 450 fuel pump, upgraded coils, a 67 mm HKS turbocharger, a HKS EVO max boost controller, a 60 mm HKS wastegate and downpipe, and an Exedy twin-disc clutch. The car apparently pumps out 340 hp while running 10 psi of boost.
Other changes made to the car include Aragosta coilovers, a Koyo high-capacity radiator, and a number of distinctive interior components, such as a new steering wheel and custom gauges.
