Tesla Profits Soar To Record $3.3 Billion In Q1 Thanks To Higher Prices And Strong Demand
Tesla has started the new year with a bang, posting a record profit of $3.3 billion in Q1 2022. It’s $1 billion more than what the company achieved at the same time last year. The increase in profits is partly down to the rise in pricing for the company’s vehicles, with the Model 3’s prices starting 34 percent higher than three years ago. Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, had stated that rising costs and soaring demand prompted the price increases.
