Audi Determined To Bag McLaren, Raises Offer For F1 Division By 44%, Report Says

Rumors about the VW Group entering Formula 1 have been around for decades, but now they seem to be heating up, with a new report claiming that Audi is determined to secure McLaren’s F1 arm. This would be in addition to Porsche teaming up with Red Bull, say various outlets. Automobilwoche claims that Audi has upped their offer by almost 45 percent, while there’s also interest in the German brand acquiring McLaren’s road car division.


New Generation 2023 Honda HR-V Revealed As A Bigger And More Mature Crossover

The North American HR-V has been revealed, although if you’re reading this in Europe, you’re forgiven for being a little confused. This HR-V has no relation to the one already on offer in Europe — although it will appear on the continent at some point, likely under another name. The new Honda HR-V will have the same underpinnings as the 11th generation Honda Civic, and will likely share engines, although specifics have not yet been released.


DeLorean Shows First Image Of New Electrified EVolved Ahead Of Aug 18 Debut

The DeLorean Motor Company has dropped another teaser of its upcoming “EVolved” sports car that takes inspiration from the original gullwing model. The company also announced that the full reveal would move forward by three days. to August 18, 2022, appearing on the concept lawn at Pebble Beach.


The Geneva Motor Show Will Officially Return In 2023

The Geneva Motor Show is (finally) returning. Despite being on the automotive calendar since as early as 1905, the motor show was canceled in 2020, 2021, and 2022, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. The show was supposed to return this year but was postponed again, with fears of the Omicron variant spreading. The new dates for the show are February 14 to February 19, 2023.


Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica To Debut On April 12 As A Slightly Tamer STO

April 12th will be the reveal date for an all-new car from Lamborghini, with rumors pointing to it being the Huracan Tecnica. The Tecnica, previously rumored to be called the JV Stradale, is expected to be a milder version of the STO. It will likely feature elements of the STO, but without the mad aero. The teaser features a V10 badge on a carbon-fiber engine cover, indicating that it’s one of the Huracan-based models that are coming in 2022 and not one of the two Urus-related debuts.


Fiat To Unveil A New Supermini And Three New Crossovers By 2027

Fiat will start focusing on the smaller segments of the market and will shun anything larger than compact cars. The Italian marque will begin by introducing three new crossovers and a supermini. The brand will also switch to being a fully-electric company in the near future, potentially by 2027. The first new car will be a Punto-sized supermini debuting next year, likely based on the CMP platform that underpins the Peugeot 208 and Opel Corsa. One of the new crossovers will be a modern take on the Panda, which will be “rugged, simple, [and] robust.”


Chevy’s First Pickup Police Pursuit Vehicle Is A Lifted Z71 Silverado With 355-HP

Say hello to the 2023 Silverado PPV, Chevrolet’s first pickup pursuit vehicle. It takes a Crew Cab Short Bed model and adds the Z71 package, including Rancho shocks, skid plate, and locking differential. A 2-inch lift is also available. It’s powered by a 5.3-liter V8, including a heavy-duty air filter, good for 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. There are auxiliary wiring circuits for a horn and siren, while headlight and taillamp flashers are fitted as standard.
