On April 21, the new Tushek TS900 Apex is going to make its global debut as what the company says is the lightest hybrid hypercar on Earth. Of course, it’s important to consider that Tushek uses the dry weight to claim that achievement but there’s no doubt that this 1,351-horsepower rocket on wheels is going to turn heads.
Tushek is hoping to sell 36 total units of the TS900 Apex and then 12 more TS900 RacerPro editions. The latter will be a track-only variant with a power-to-weight ratio of 1.13 horsepower to 1 kilogram. The former has a ratio of one metric horsepower to one kilogram.

While the brand is quiet on some of the specifics, they say that the E-Direct Drive that it’s developed for use in the TS900 Apex and its track-only variant is the “world’s highest power density electric drivetrain.” It features a pair of electric motors that achieve that 1,351 hp number with the help of a 4.2-liter V8.
“As a company and as a brand centered on perfection, we are constantly innovating to ensure our customers get what they pay for on the road and on the track,’ said Chief Commercial Officer of Tushek, Dragos Gheorghiu. ‘Buying a Tushek is more than just a singular experience, it’s something that you will remember for the rest of your life, and we wanted to wait until the car’s engineering was complete to ensure owners would know exactly what they were investing in, ‘ he added.
The TS900 Apex certainly has supercar looks so it’ll be interesting to see how it’s adopted by those who can afford it. When all of your buddies have mainstream supercars, this could be a cool way to stand out.
The global debut will take place at the first inaugural Salon Privé London which starts on April 21st and ends on April 23. Tushek is just one of many manufacturers that will attend the show including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, and Rolls-Royce.
