After the stretched pair of Wagoneers, Jeep also unveiled a new Hydro Blue Pearl Coat exterior paint color and a new trim package for the Grand Cherokee at the 2022 New York International Auto Show.
The color was introduced on the Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4xe package, which adds dark accents to the Summit and Summit Reserve trim levels. The marquee items for the new package are the 21-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, that play off the gloss black exterior accents and badging. It also adds roof rails and a unique seven-slot grille to the SUV.
The High Altitude package adds $1,495 to the price of the Summit 4xe trim and $995 to the MSRP of the Summit Reserve 4xe trim. Both 4×4 models come standard with air suspension and a rear electronic limited-slip differential, plus a traction management system with five driving modes.

The 4xe models also benefit from hybrid technology that delivers 25 miles of all-electric range and 56 MPGe. That’s thanks to two electric motors, a 400-volt battery back, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder engine that sends its power to the ground via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
As standard, the Summit and Summit Reserve models add luxury touches, such as Nappa and Palermo leather seats, high-quality wooden trim pieces, and more.
The color you see this model in, meanwhile, is the new Hydro Blue Pearl Coat and it won’t be reserved for it as the shade will also be available on the Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve models for an extra $395.
Both the new blue paint and High Altitude package will only be available to order from Jeep dealers in the second half of 2022. The High Altitude Package will be available on Grand Cherokee Summit 4xe, Summit Reserve 4xe, Grand Cherokee L Summit, and Summit Reserve models.
