A driver in China has demonstrated a unique technique for quickly securing a parking spot, at the expense of just about everything in sight.
In a video posted to the ThatLookedExpensive subreddit, security footage from a camera in Chongqing, China, shows a driver losing control of their car in the rain before hopping over multiple parked vehicles and landing perfectly in an empty parking spot.
At first glance, this looks like it could be a behind-the-scenes video of the next Ace Ventura movie, but since Jim Carrey recently announced that he would be retiring from acting after his latest movie, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, it’s not likely that he was behind the wheel in this instance.
The driver is moving at high speed before the tail gets loose, then the vehicle hits the curb which pitches it sideways and is launched up and over three vehicles before finally landing almost perfectly between the painted lines.
In addition to destroying five cars (including their own), the driver narrowly misses a pedestrian crossing the street.

The crash is an incredible feat that would have been difficult for even James Bond Stunt Driver Mark Higgins to pull off.
It’s unclear whether or not the motorist responsible for the carnage was apprehended by the police, but there is one thing we do know: do not try this at home (or anywhere, really).
