A 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R that has been driven just 445 miles (716 km) since leaving the factory has hit the market and it has got a lot of people talking.
This particular Sentra SE-R was sold new to Russ Darrow-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin and has remained in the possession of the original owner since. It is being sold without a reserve and with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Wisconsin title.

The car is painted black and has its OEM 14-inch wheels with the original 185/60 Dunlop Sp Sport D87 tires from 1991 at all four corners. Given the car’s low mileage it’s no surprise that the exterior looks pristine with the Bring a Trailer listing stating that it went through paintless dent removal back in 2001.
As far as interiors go, the cabin of the Sentra SE-R is rather unremarkable but it is in excellent condition. It features woven gray cloth across the front seats, rear seats, and door panels. There are also Sentra branded floor mats, a Dolby AM/FM cassette stereo, air conditioning, and the most important feature of them all, a five-speed manual transmission.
Found beneath the hood of the Sentra SE-R is a 2.0-liter SR20DE naturally aspirated four-cylinder that produced 140 hp and 132 lb-ft (179 Nm) of torque from the factory. While that may not sound like much, the car benefits from a viscous limited-slip differential at the front wheels and also has independent suspension at all four corners, as well as front and rear stabilizer bars, allowing it to handle very well.
While it is unclear why the original owner almost never drove the car, the window sticker reveals that it had a sticker price of $13,445 back in the day. Taking inflation into account, that is the equivalent of $28,007 in 2022 and at the time of writing, bidding stood at $31,000 with two days left in the auction.
