The Toyota HiAce is one of the most recognizable commercial vehicles out there and the complete opposite of a vehicle that you’d expect to be stored and barely ever driven. This particular HiAce is a little different.
Currently listed up for sale in Germany via Mobile.de, this fourth-generation HiAce from 1991 has only been driven 490 km (304 miles) since new. The listing provides no explanation as to why the vehicle has been stored for most of its life but with a €30,900 ($33,494) asking price, it certainly isn’t cheap.
The listing notes that the Toyota was originally registered in Denmark and comes with all of its original books. It is being sold by C.C. Cars which has a wide array of classic sports cars also up for sale, including a C4 Corvette, a Triumph TR6, a Mercedes-Benz 280, a Fiat X 1/9, and a BMW E30 325i, vehicles that are all very different to the HiAce.

No mention is made about what engine is driving this HiAce, but diesel badges indicate that it could be one of a number of different four-cylinder diesel engines offered for the vehicle over the years, including a 2.5-liter, a 2.8-liter, and a 3.0-liter.
What does the future hold for this HiAce? Hard to say – maybe it will be purchased by someone looking to add something a little different to a large car collection or perhaps by an individual that will actually drive the thing and would prefer it to a more modern light commercial vehicle.
