The 2023 Nissan Z will start at $39,990 in the United States with the first units to arrive at local dealerships this summer.
Found at the base of the Z range is the Z Sport, available with either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission. Prices the Z Sport, regardless of gearbox, start at $39,990 excluding a $1,025 destination and handling charge.

Positioned above the Z Coupe Sport is the Z Performance, priced from $49,990 for both the six-speed manual and nine-speed ‘auto, excluding the same destination and handling charge.
Key upgrades enjoyed by the Performance over the Z Sport are a mechanical limited-slip differential, larger front and rear brakes complete with painted calipers, 19-inch Rays forged wheels, Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, launch control, aluminum pedals, front and rear spoilers, and a rev-matching system for the manual gearbox. Other upgrades found on the Performance include heated side mirrors, a leather steering wheel, 9-inch infotainment screen, in-car WiFi hotspot, and a Bose eight-speaker audio system.
Topping out the range is the Z Proto Spec, available from $52,990. Just 240 examples of the Z Proto Spec will be produced for the U.S. market, each sold with exclusive bronze-painted 19-inch Rays wheels, yellow brake calipers, a special Ikazuchi Yellow paint finish, and yellow accents throughout the interior.
Options available for the Z Sport and Performance include $1,295 premium two-tone paint, $1,695 Passion Red TriCoat paint, and an $895 two-tone paint scheme. Other options include splash guards, racing stripes, exterior welcome lighting, illuminated kick plates, and interior accent lighting.
The 2023 Nissan Z’s most direct rival is the Toyota GR Supra. While pricing for the 2023 model with the new six-speed manual hasn’t been announced, the current Supra 3.0 starts at $52,915 while the Supra 2.0 is available from $44,565.
