Audi is introducing a new edition to its North American S6 and S7 lineups for the 2023MY. The new Design Edition package adds various exclusive aesthetic additions to both cars.

The buttoned-down package will be offered with two new, exclusive colors: Arrow Gray and Liquid Dark Chrome. In addition to those paint finishes, the cars will also be offered in a range of less unique colors, including Brilliant and Mythos Black Metallic, Daytona Gray Pearl Effect, Firmament and Ultra Blue Metallic, Florett Silver Metallic, Glacier White Metallic, and Tango Red Metallic.

As part of the exterior treatment, the models also get a high-gloss Black optic package that is matched with Liquid Dark Chrome exterior accents. That means the cars get black Audi rings and badges and a Brilliant Black painted roof. That same color is used on the window surrounds, mirror caps, and on the S6’s rear spoiler, while the grilles on both are finished in matte black. These details play against Liquid Dark Chrome accents on the front and rear bumpers.

Adding a splash of color to the affair are the brake calipers, which are painted red under the 21-inch 5-V-spoke aluminum wheels on the S6 and the 21-inch 5-V-spoke trapezoid design wheels on the S7. The wheels on both models are finished in Platinum Gray.

Inside, the S6 and S7 Design Editions get red stitching and the gear selector, lower console, and knee pads are covered in Dinamica, a microfiber fabric. The Black S sport seats are covered in Valcona leather and the cars get a flat-bottomed Alcantara-covered heated steering wheel. To match the red stitching, the black seatbelts are edged with red.

Under the hood, the S6 and S7 make use of a twin-turbocharged, 2.9-liter V6 that produces 444 HP (331 kW/450 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque.

The Design Edition package is priced at $2,500 for the S6 and S7 models and will be offered exclusively for the 2023 model year. The option will become available to order in June 2022.
