Bentley is gearing up to introduce a new ultra-luxury vehicle on May 10th and the company has provided a better look at its spacious rear passenger compartment.
While the automaker is keeping details under wraps, they confirmed the model will be offered with new airline seats that are billed as the “most advanced seat ever fitted to a car.” They feature 22-ways of adjustment as well as “advanced postural adjustment technology with 177 individual pressure changes possible across six zones.”
However, the real coup de grâce is their “world-first auto climate sensing system.” Bentley didn’t elaborate, but it sounds like the seats will be able to determine if you’re hot or cold and then automatically activate heating or ventilation to keep you comfortable.

Elsewhere, we can see a rear center console and Diamond Illumination on the door panels. As Bentley explained, there are small perforations – that measure 0.4 inches (1 mm) in diameter – in the leather-trimmed door panels and they allow LED lights to shine through to create a unique experience that combines craftsmanship and technology with modern design. The illuminated accents are an interesting touch and Bentley noted the front doors will have 12 LEDs, while the rear doors are outfitted with 22.
The company went on to say their iconic diamond quilting has been “reimagined in a dramatic and contemporary new design” as its “execution looks simple, but the obsession to detail behind it encapsulates all that is unique about Bentley interiors.” Personalization is also a classic Bentley trait and owners won’t be disappointed as the upcoming model will be offered in 24 billion different configurations.
Bentley will unveil the new addition to their lineup next week and teased the “fifth model” will bring an “extra dimension of on-board wellness.” That implies a long wheelbase and the company added the “new model will sit in sumptuous comfort at the pinnacle of its range and deliver a breadth of capabilities – and configurations – beyond anything previously offered.”
While the company is referring to this as an all-new model, it’s expected to be an extended wheelbase Bentayga. That theory is backed up by the teaser image as the general shape of the door panels is similar as is the position of the speaker grilles. Of course, there are some changes and it sounds like Bentley won’t be using the Bentayga name.
