It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that the Lexus LC 500 is one of the most beautiful cars currently on sale and just when we thought the car couldn’t look any better, we stumbled across these renderings from Sugar Design.

Rather than attempting to mess with the near-perfect proportions of the LC 500 coupe, the rendering artist has instead imagined the car as a Shooting Brake. Sure, there’s absolutely no chance that Lexus will ever produce such a version of the LC 500 but if it did, it could have a winner on its hands.

The front half of the car is largely identical to a normal LC 500. The first change you’ll notice is the elongated roofline that stretches back further than it does on the Coupe. Complementing the revised roof are lengthened side windows. The characteristic Shooting Brake profile is then especially visible when the car is viewed from the rear thanks to the unique rear window and lip spoiler running off the roof.

Sugar Design has then made the car even more gorgeous with a subtle blue paint scheme that is contrasted by bronze-colored wheels and bronze C-pillars.

For quite some time, it appeared as though Lexus was developing a flagship variant of the Coupe dubbed the LC F. This model was expected to rival the BMW M8 Competition and was set to feature a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that would have pumped out well over 600 hp. Sadly, that variant never came to be, meaning the car remains exclusively available in LC 500 and LC 500h guises.
