There seems to be a weird connection between the Nissan Silvia S15 and BMW parts. Back in 2014, a Japanese student transplanted a BMW 3-Series face on the iconic two-door coupe, but someone decided to take things even further, fitting a Nissan Sylvia with the headlights and taillights from an E60 5-Series.
The car in question is a 2000 Nissan Silvia S15 Spec R. The lighting units are indeed a weird choice since their shape and size are quite different from the ones on the stock Nissan. Both are aftermarket LED units but remain instantly recognizable.

Usually, when someone decides to integrate light units from a different model or brand, the results can be pretty awful but in this case, we are not even mad as the E60 headlights and taillights look to be very nicely integrated. Still looks weird though.
Besides the stand-out features, a closer look reveals that the rear spoiler comes from a Nissan GT-R R35. The body kit is a mix and match, including massive fender extensions by Rocket Bunny, a set of 19-inch WORK Durandal wheels, a carbon-fiber bonnet with a scoop, scissor doors, plus Origin front and rear bumpers featuring a prominent splitter and quad exhaust pipes.
Inside, there is a Rockford Fosgate audio system with pillar-mounted tweeters, an infotainment screen with TV capability, a carbon-fiber look for the center console, an extra boost gauge on the climate vent, and other small touches from the Japanese aftermarket world.

The owner didn’t stop at the visual modifications, as he also upgraded the turbocharged Nissan SR20DET engine with Nismo injectors, a four-piece titanium muffler by Trust, a GCG turbine, and an HKS F-Con V-Pro software tune. We don’t know the exact figures but the tuned motor will surely produce a lot more than the stock 247 hp (184 kW / 250 PS) and 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear axle through a six-speed manual gearbox with the help of a limited-slip differential. Finally, the Silvia got a set of D2 Racing brakes with 8-piston calipers at the front and 4-piston calipers at the rear.
While some will complain about altering the appearance of a great-looking Nissan Silvia Spec R, the extensive visual modifications make this a unique car that attracts plenty of attention wherever it is parked. The BMW-infused Silvia was offered for sale online a couple of years ago, and it most likely remains in Japan where it has been spotted by independent photographers.
