Pininfarina has showcased its NFT collection that is currently up for auction through RM Sotheby’s and designed to celebrate the iconic Ferrari Modulo.
We first heard about Pininfarina’s NFT collection earlier this month. The project has come to life thanks to a partnership between Pininfarina and NFT specialists 1of1, ARTM Technologies, and artist Sasha Sirota. The series is limited to just five individual NFTs. Bidding recently opened on RM Sotheby’s website.

Each of the five NFTs presents the Modulo in a different time period ranging from the 1970s through to 2020 and are dubbed 70, 80, 90, 00, and 10 respectively.
Winning bidders won’t just receive a piece of digital art of the Modulo, including the images and videos you see below, but will also have access to a host of VIP “utilities.”
For example, they will receive a printed artwork of the Module that is signed by Paolo Pininfarina, a reproduction of an original Module sketch in print form also signed by Paolo Pininfarina, a Digital Booker on a USB stick with special artwork from Pininfarina’s private design archives, a digital replica of a physical Pininfarina Modulo that’s suitable for the metaverse, and a private tour of the Pininfarina Museum. Winning buyers will also have a one-to-one meeting with the Pininfarina car design team and get the chance to experience the company’s Virtual Lab at its headquarters in Cambiano, Italy.
“We are proud that our first NFT Collection is dedicated to give a new life to the Modulo,” Paulo Pininfarina recently described in a statement. “The concept car designed in 1970 is a manifesto of Pininfarina vision: beauty and innovation to design the future”.
Bidding on the NFTs will run through until June 3. At the time of writing, bidding for the Modulo 70’s NFT had hit $1,300 while it had reached $700 for the 80’s, $500 for the 90’s, $500 for the 00’s, and $700 for the 10’s.
