Steeda and AWE have come together to create a very special Ford Mustang for the Valdosta Police Department in Georgia.
In creating the ultimate Mustang police cruiser, Steeda started out with a 2021 GT and immediately looked for ways to improve its performance. As such, close attention was paid to the suspension system with a new adjustable front and rear sway bar kit installed, new subframe bushings, subframe alignment kit, subframe support braces, low-profile jacking rails, and a two-point G-Trac brace. Steeda says it wanted to give the Mustang the handling set-up that would allow it to work on a track while still remaining comfortable on the street.

With the suspension and chassis upgrades complete, Steeda turned its attention to the standard 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8. It is now rocking a cold air intake and has a custom tune. No mention is made about just how much power and torque the car is now pumping out. A cat-back exhaust from AWE has also been fitted, together with a set of 20-inch gloss black wheels wrapped in 275/35 front and 315/30 rear Nitto INVO high-performance tires.
As this Mustang will actually be used on duty, it has also been equipped with all the obligatory graphics, lights, and sirens. It also includes a Steeda windshield banner, Steeda G-Trac graphics package, a unique serialization badge under the hood, and some additional decals. Rounding out the upgrades is a new rear wing, hood strut kit, door sill plates, and a Steeda badge in the cabin.
Given how prone those driving Ford Mustangs are to crashing, we think it’d probably be a good idea for local law enforcement to get some experience behind the wheel of the potent pony car before hitting the street in it and chasing after criminals.
