Feds Likely To Find Tesla’s Autopilot Causes More Crashes Than Other ADAS Systems
NHTSA has announced that it will be upgrading its investigation into Tesla’s Autopilot, as it has been revealed that other manufacturers’ equivalent systems are less likely to cause a crash. NHTSA reported that it was aware of 207 accidents related to Autopilot in one way or another, including 16 in which vehicles crashed into emergency vehicles. Out of this, 106 accidents could not be attributed to other cars.
2023 Mercedes-AMG G 63 4×4² Is Here To Conquer All Terrains With Portal Axles And 577 HP
The 2023 Mercedes-AMG G 63 4×4² has been revealed and is being described by Merc as “the last of its kind” – likely in reference to the ICE version. It’s the latest addition to the special G-Wagen range, following the 2013 G63 AMG 6×6, the 2015 G500 4×4², and the 2017 Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet. It boasts portal axles and copious amounts of ground clearance, plus a 577 hp twin-turbocharged V8.
Nio ES7 Electric SUV Debuts With 644 HP And Up To 528 Miles Of Range
The latest EV to be added to the Nio lineup is the 2023 ES7 SUV. The ES7 will fit in between the ES6 and ES8, and features the brand’s new “Design for AD philosophy.” The interior is billed as a “second living room” and features a floating center console, karuun rattan wood trim, a Dolby Atmos surround sound system, and a 256-color ambient lighting system. Perhaps of most interest inside is the PanoCinema system. It uses specially developed augmented reality glasses to project a 201-inch ‘screen’ at a distance of 19.7 feet (6 meters).

The production version of the Citroën My Ami Buggy is here and features some cool features that turn the cute EV into a miniature adventure vehicle. The plastic body panels are painted in Khaki, combined with yellow accents, metal tubing instead of doors, a removable grey fabric roof, and a new set of gold-painted 14-inch wheels. It also gets plastic cladding on the bumpers, fenders, and side sills, plus a new trim around the headlights and taillights, making it look more crossover-ish.

INKAS has announced that its 300-Series Toyota Land Cruiser has just received VPAM VR7 certification. Why is that important, you ask? Well simply, because it means it can withstand an explosion of 15 kg (33 lbs) of TNT. In addition, the car gets Level 2 STANAG4569 certification, after six roof-level grenades, four under-body grenades, two land mines, and the aforementioned TNT were all detonated and unable to penetrate the cabin.

Formula 1 and the organizers of the Australian GP have inked a deal that will see the Melbourne circuit stay on the calendar until at least 2035. The deal will also see Formula 2 and Formula 3 races take place for the first time at the circuit.
