Massachusetts Gas Station Owner Digs His Heels Against Big Oil By Refusing To Sell Fuel Over High Prices

As gas prices continue to rise across the country, there’s one gas station owner who’s taking a stand — even if it means losing the business he’s owned since 1973. Reynold Gladu of Ren’s Mobil Service told his supplier that he wouldn’t buy any more fuel again until prices dropped. “I don’t want to be part of it anymore,” Gladu told the Daily Hampshire Gazette. “This is the biggest ripoff that ever has happened to people in my lifetime.”

The big story is under the hood, where you’ll find a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that produces 577 hp (430 kW / 585 PS) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.
