The Dodge Viper may have suffered an untimely demise but it remains popular among enthusiasts looking for earth-shaking horsepower and torque figures. Just take this one, for example.
The Viper in question comes from a company by the name of NthMoto which has heaps of experience modifying the Viper and developing twin-turbocharger packages for it. It left no stone unturned in building up this particular car, so much so that it recently delivered 2,571 hp and 2,009 lb-ft (2,723 lbs) of torque when strapped to a hub dyno.
These insane figures have been achieved thanks to the use of a billet aluminum 9.0-liter V10 that features unique cylinder sleeves, a dry-sump oil system, and a plethora of other internal upgrades. It also features a pair of massive turbochargers and now has as much grunt as a Bugatti Chiron and a Ferrari SF90 Stradale combined.

This dyno run reveals that the car pumps out 1,500 hp to the rear wheels when running on 93 octane fuel and that this increased to the aforementioned 2,571 hp and 2,009 lb-ft when fueled with 117 octane racing fuel.
These figures result in some pretty remarkable acceleration time. While testing the car on the street, NthMoto was able to record a 60-130 mph (96-209 km/h) sprint in 3.00 seconds and a 100-150 mph (160-241 km/h) sprint in 2.1 seconds.
Coupled to the crazed engine is a sequential transmission in place of the original six-speed manual.
Remarkably, this isn’t even the fastest nor the most powerful Viper that NthMoto has built. Earlier this year, one of its Vipers rocketed down the quarter-mile in 6.9 seconds at 210.28 mph (338.4 km/h), a record for the American-bred supercar.
