Ford has unveiled a special Bronco that’s been crafted to celebrate Pride Month.
The unique Bronco was first showcased this past weekend at the Memphis Pride Fest and will also attend Detroit’s Motor City Pride parade on June 11 and 12 while also participating in the Block Party at the Ann Arbor YMCA on June 25.
Immediately making this Bronco stand out is the exterior finish that includes a large painted rainbow on both sides, as well as a speckled gold finish. The brightly-colored theme continues across the rear of the Bronco. A pair of brightly-colored stickers are also featured on the rear side windows.

This isn’t the first time that Ford has unveiled a special vehicle to celebrate Pride. In August last year, the car manufacturer unveiled a special Ranger Raptor with a very similar exterior finish to this Bronco. That Ranger Raptor was created in response to a homophobic comment left on Ford’s social media where someone described the truck’s blue paint as “very gay.”
While this Bronco is cool, we think it would have been even more striking if it was based around the flagship Bronco Raptor variant. Unveiled in January, that model takes the standard Bronco and adds 9.8-inches (25 cm) of extra width. It is also powered by a 3.0-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that pumps out 418 hp and 440 lb-ft (596 Nm) of torque and is coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission powering all four wheels.
Ford didn’t just equip the Bronco Raptor with a new engine but also fitted new shock towers that increase wheel travel. It also sports Fox dampers with internal bypass valves and Ford Performance control arms. As far as off-roaders go, few make quite the same statement.
