The BMW M3 Touring will be getting some company at the Goodwood Festival of Speed as Ford Pro and Ford Performance have teased a mysterious collaboration.
While there isn’t much to see other than a full-width light bar and illuminated Ford Performance logos, the model is presumably an electric van given that Ford Pro is involved and the teaser alludes to “something electrifying.”
That’s not much to go on, but Ford unveiled the E-Transit Custom in May and has already teased the upcoming Transit Courier, Tourneo Courier, Tourneo Custom, and E-Transit. The Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom are slated to arrive in 2023, while the Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier are due the following year.

The teaser doesn’t shine much light on what to expect, but the most likely candidates are presumably modified versions of the E-Transit Custom or E-Tourneo Custom. While that remains to be seen, Ford Performance’s involvement suggests we can expect something slightly bonkers.
Numerous questions remain, but the E-Transit Custom is an electric head turner as its sports a futuristic front fascia and a “no-compromise all-electric architecture.” Ford hasn’t provided many specifics, but has previously said the van will have up to 236 miles (380 km) of range as well as a DC fast-charging capability, the ability to tow, and ProPower Onboard technology. The automaker will reveal more details this September, before the van goes into production in the second half of 2023.
