Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II Driven By Paul Walker Is A True Unicorn

One of the most desirable Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R models in the United States has hit the market and is bound to trade hands for supercar levels of money.

This Skyline GT-R is a desirable 2001 V-Spec II variant and is apparently just one of 16 R34 models that were officially imported into the United States by MotoRex in the early 2000s. As if that wasn’t enough to make you sell your kidneys or your house for it, perhaps the fact that the car was driven extensively by the late Paul Walker will.

Hive Auto Group is selling the car and notes that it has the same Bayside Blue exterior finish as made famous by the R34 GT-R driven by Walker in Fast & Furious. It is completely road legal and registered in California and has undergone a number of expensive and desirable modifications.

Starting with the suspension, the famed Japanese sports car now sits on electronically-adjustable Tein coilovers. It has also been equipped with Tein TE37 Saga wheels that suit the design of the car perfectly. There is also a stainless steel exhaust system and a distinctive gold BF Goodrich livery. The listing confirms it is #672 of the 1855 V-Spec II models that Nissan produced.

With this in mind, the car is equipped with a 2.6-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that pumps out 276 hp (206 kW) and 289 lb-ft (392 Nm) of torque from the factory. However, the car was built at the time of the Japanese ‘Gentleman’s Agreement’ where the nation’s automakers all capped their high-performance models to 276 hp. In reality, it likely has much more grunt than that.

The listing notes that the car was recently fitted with new tires and comes complete with all of its original importation paperwork. It has been driven a touch over 21,000 miles (~33,700 km) and has obviously been well cared for.

As for the price, while we don’t know the exact figure, we suspect that it will be “more than you can afford pal”.
