Biden Set To Decide On Federal Gas Tax Holiday By End Of The Week
Gas prices have been at an all-time high across the U.S., prompting President Biden to consider offering some relief to motorists. Biden has confirmed that he is thinking about a federal gas tax holiday, with a final decision to be made by the end of the week. The Federal tax on gasoline is 18.4 cents per gallon and 24.4 cents for diesel. 400-HP Prodrive P25 Is A $560,000 Subaru Impreza Restomod
Say hello to the $560,000 Prodrive Impreza P25 — a restomod based on the success of the 22B Impreza. Purists will be happy to hear that no original 22Bs will be harmed in the production of the P25, with the new car using the shells of two-door WRXs, cloaked in carbon fiber panels. In addition to the lightweight body, cars will feature a lightweight lithium-ion battery and optional carbon race seats. LSDs at both ends, Bilstein suspension, and AP Racing brakes bring the car into 2022, but the highlight is an extensively reworked 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder, with 400 hp (406 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque.

This Modified Nissan Leaf Is Heading To The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
A modified Nissan Leaf will be tackling the infamous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb later this week. Interestingly, there don’t appear to be any modifications to the EV’s drivetrain. Instead, the team behind the entry, Samurai Speed, has focused on improving the Leaf’s aerodynamics, with a new bumper, a distinctive hood, a massive splitter, and huge canards on either side of the bumper. The rear end has also been transformed with a fixed rear wing, a unique bumper, and a striking diffuser, while the Leaf is also now a two-door, with extra air intakes where the rear windows would be.
