The Lamborghini Huracan is perhaps the furthest thing you could think of as being a good tow vehicle. However, as YouTuber Alex Choi recently discovered, his Huracan actually does the job quite well.
It’s worth mentioning right off the bat that Choi’s Huracan is far from stock. In fact, it is one of the most heavily-modified examples you’ll find online and is equipped with a host of body panels from a Huracan GT3 race car. It looks so wild that it is perhaps the nearest thing to a road-legal Huracan Super Trofeo Evo.
The Lamborghini’s engine has also been upgraded with a pair of turbochargers and pumps out 1,250 hp to the wheels. The Huracan was also converted from all-wheel drive to rear-wheel drive.

Eager to test out the car’s towing abilities, the YouTuber installed a tow hook rated for 15,000 lbs (6,083 lbs) and headed to U-Haul to hire a trailer. Unsurprisingly, the employee wasn’t allowed to give Choi a trailer as the Huracan wasn’t listed as an appropriate tow vehicle in their system. Choi’s solution? Call a friend and have them bring over a pickup then proceed to hire a trailer, drive around the block, and attach it to the Lamborghini.
Choi initially wanted to tow a Huracan but quickly discovered that it was a little too wide for the trailer he hired. So instead, he put his Audi RS6 on the trailer and went for a joy ride, hitting 65 mph (104 km/h) without too many issues.
The rest of the video shows him doing burnouts with the Lamborghini, spitting flames, and toasting the Huracan’s clutches. Towards the end of the clip, he was able to source a larger trailer and managed to tow a Urus with it.
