The 2023 Corvette Z06 is coming soon but we can only imagine how high some dealers might mark it up. A used C8 has just popped up on eBay though and it might be worth a look if you’re in the market. Not only was it featured at SEMA but it has a supercharger and more power than any stock Z06 ever made.

The 2020 year model of the C8 Corvette is a stout performer even in its base form. Without any modification, it’s factory-rated at 490-hp (365 kW) and 465 lb-ft (629 Nm) of torque. Pair that with its slick eight-speed automatic and it’ll rocket from 0-60 in under 4 seconds. We get the feeling that this SEMA show car can do it in considerably less time though.

Crafted at the creatively named The Custom Shop in Flanagan, IL, it’s about as visually aggressive as a Corvette can be. According to the listing, it features a Sigala Wide Body kit which cost $17,000 originally. That kit has left the car five inches wider at the front and seven inches wider in the back. Huge three-piece Forgeline wheels punctuate each corner.

This supercar killer has the performance modifications to back up its brash styling too. Under the hood is a Procharger supercharger kit complete with an aluminum intake and a Magnaflow exhaust system. A dyno sheet included in the ad shows a maximum power output of 618-hp (460 kW) at the rear wheels or about 740-hp (551 kW) to the crank before drivetrain losses. Keep in mind that the figure mentioned with regard to the base Corvette is referencing crank horsepower, so this car makes around 250 extra horsepower (186 kW).

Other modifications add to the performance and drama like a lowering kit, fat 355 section-width Pirelli rear tires, and a lot of carbon fiber on the roof, the diffuser, the spoilers, and the hood. The seller says that “well over $200,000” has been invested into the build at this point and that they’re only selling because they’re moving onto another project. At the time of publishing, the eBay listing has two bids, the highest of which stands ar $150,000.

Who knows what it’ll end up selling for but this might be the best way to get a super fast Corvette without paying for a dealer markup. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s one of one either.
