Electric trucks have largely been an American phenomenon, but they’re going global as Geely has released the first pictures of the upcoming RADAR pickup.
Geely didn’t say much about the model, but the teaser images reveal the crew cab pickup will have a slender grille with a chrome bar that flows into stylish daytime running lights. They’re joined by LED headlights and an aggressive front bumper with large air intakes that appear to be mostly blocked off.
Moving further back, we can see pronounced wheel arches, stylized bodywork, and plastic body cladding. The truck also has side steps and a relatively small bed.

Speaking of the rear, the pickup has wraparound taillights that are connected by a thin strip. We can also see a faux skid plate as well as “GEELY” debossing on the tailgate. The latter is interesting to note as previous reports suggested RADAR – which reportedly stands for Rational, Alone, Discovery, Accompany, and Romantic – would be an entirely new adventure brand.
Little else is known about the truck at this point, but rumors suggest it could be electric and based on Geely’s SEA platform. While that isn’t much to go on, the truck is expected to be introduced later this month and Geely teased “More coming soon! Stay tuned.”
