Jeep customers will be treated to two new color options for the 2023 model year Wrangler. The unexpectedly complex Earl is brand new, while Reign will only be available for a limited time.
Earl gray was first shown on the Jeep Gladiator Farout concept built for the 2020 Easter Jeep Safari. The color was then matched with black panels and highlighter yellow details. Now it’s making its production debut on the Wrangler for the 2023 model year. On the road, the new color’s depth and aquamarine hints are allowed to come to the fore without the distraction of bright yellow accents.

The purple Reign marks the first time since 2018 that a shade of purple has been offered on the Wrangler. That makes this the first JL Wrangler available in the color from the factory.
It won’t be here for long, though, and buyers interested in a purple Wrangler will have to act fast because Reign will only be available to order until October 2022, says Jeep.
“We received a lot of positive feedback on Earl when it debuted on the Gladiator Farout concept, and we work to deliver what our customers tell us they want,” said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep North America. “These limited-run colors like Earl and Reign draw a huge enthusiast following because they’re exciting, authentic and stand out, much like the Jeep community.”
Both colors will be available on the entire Jeep Wrangler lineup including Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe and 392. Earl will be offered with an MSRP of $395, while Reign costs a little more, at $495.
These shades join Firecracker Red, High Velocity, Hydro Blue, Sarge Green, Silver Zynith, Sting Gray, Granite Crystal, Black and Bright White, which will all also be available for the 2023 model year.
