A white Lamborghini Urus has been destroyed after its driver ran a stop sign at high speed and slammed into the roof of a house.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon while the rented Urus was being driven by 24-year-old William Dion McQueen Jr. Security camera footage from a nearby house shows the powerful SUV speeding through a quiet neighborhood and racing straight through a stop sign.
The driver’s decision to run the stop light saw the Urus T-bone a Nissan SUV in a violent crash that sent the Nissan spinning and the Lamborghini flipping through the air. While the Nissan came to a rest on the road, the Urus smashed into the roof of a small duplex. The SUV then fell to the ground, landing on its roof and quickly caught fire.

Speaking with the Miami Herald, a witness of the crash said they approached the driver to help him from the vehicle. However, McQueen Jr. insisted that they let him go and ran from the scene.
The 24-year-old later called police directly, claiming that he hadn’t fled the scene intentionally and that he was dazed and confused after the crash. He said he can’t recall what happened after the crash, claiming all he can remember was a stranger driving him to his hotel and a friend then transporting him to a Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
The Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue claim that the driver of the Nissan SUV suffered minor injuries and that no one in the house was injured. However, they did note that the property had to be vacated due to the extent of the damage caused.
Speaking with WSVN-TV, one local resident said that the intersection is dangerous and that there have been three accidents there in one week.
