Pagani makes some of the most special cars in the industry, and arguably one of their most special creations is the track-only version of the Huayra hypercar. Called the Huayra R, the car dials its roadgoing sibling’s performance up to 11, and thanks to a new video, we get the pleasure of seeing and hearing it lap a racetrack in anger.
The sound this car makes is truly irreplicable by just about anything but a 1990s Formula 1 car. The screaming engine harmonizes beautifully with the characteristic whine of a straight cut gearbox, and each shift is punctuated by a crisp bang before the drama starts all over again. Combine that with the engine’s lower tones and occasional off-throttle growls, and you have a recipe for an amazing-sounding vehicle in every regard.

There aren’t any readily available figures on 0-60 mph times or top speed for this car, and that’s simply because other than lap times, numbers aren’t really its main focus.
