A number of factors, from greedy dealer markups to super-low inventory numbers to increased demand, have sent automotive prices into the stratosphere. Despite those high prices and a used-car price increase of 10.5 percent on average, buyers are still snatching up vehicles left and right. You might be surprised by some of the top selling choices in June.

This new report comes from iseecars.com and highlights top sellers in both the new and used car market. As gas prices continue to soar it will come as no surprise that electric vehicles and fuel-efficient internal combustion vehicles are taking the lead on each of these lists.

At the top of the list for new vehicles is the Subaru Crosstrek, which took an average of just 12.9 days to sell from the day that it landed on the dealer lot. Second place went to the Honda Civic which took more than a full day longer at 14.1 days. Third place ended in a tie between the Subaru Forester and the Honda CR-V, which both took 14.7 days.
