German tuner TechArt seems to be keeping up with the populous Porsche 911 lineup by unveiling specific tuning packages for different models. The latest example is destined for the 911 GTS, bringing more visual drama and increased power for the sportscar.

The visual modifications include a more pronounced splitter, additional air outlets on the sides of the bumper, and a lighter carbon-fiber bonnet. The profile gets new side skirts with integrated thins, while at the back there is the option between two different spoilers – a larger wing with integrated intakes, or a smaller spoiler lip retaining the active aero of the standard model. Finally, the tuner adds TechArt lettering at the back and removes the 911 Carerra GTS emblem for a cleaner look.

TechArt’s 911 GTS is also distinguished by the Formula VII forged center-locking wheels with a diameter of 20-inches at the front and 21-inches at the rear and in many different available colors. Optionally, the tuner is offering the Daytona II and Formula V designs.

Inside, owners of the GTS can benefit from a “Clubsport” treatment thanks to the addition of a hand-welded steel roll bar mounted behind the sport seats, and the FIA homologated six-point harnesses. Upholstery options include Alcantara, leather, or heritage fabrics, with contrasting stitching/piping, and a heavy dose of carbon fiber accents. Finally, there is the new Techart sports steering wheel offering plenty of customization options.

The rear-mounted twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six engine has been upgraded with the TechArt Powerkit, adding an extra 79 hp (59 kW / 80 PS) of power and 100 Nm (73.8 lb-ft) of torque over the stock model with the touch of a button on a steering wheel. This takes the 911 GTS to 567 hp (427 kW / 560 PS) and 670 Nm (494.2 lb-ft) of torque, which is more than what you get from a naturally-aspirated 911 GT3. The extra power means that 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) now comes in 3.1 seconds (-0.3 seconds) before topping out at 320 km/h (199 mph).

The 911 GTS also benefits from a new set of adjustable coilover springs. The ride height can be adjusted between 15 – 40mm (0.6-1.6 inches), while the coilovers are compatible with the front axle lift system and the PASM suspension.

TechArt is offering a wide range of modifications for several variants of the 992 generation, including the Carrera 4S, the Targa, the GTS, the GT3, and the Turbo S. You can check them out in the official configurator by clicking here.
