Volkswagen has announced pricing details for the ID. Buzz Cargo in the UK prior to order books opening in August.

Two variants of the ID. Buzz Cargo will be offered to British buyers. Kicking off the range is the entry-level Commerce that’s priced from £38,125 ($46,341) excluding VAT and on-the-road costs. Those after something more will be able to purchase the Commerce Plus, starting from £42,375 ($51,507).

VW has equipped the entry-level ID. Buzz Cargo Commerce with features including LED headlights, three front seats with a heated driver’s seat, front and rear parking sensors, its in-house Ready 2 Discover 10-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a plethora of USB-C ports.

The ID. Buzz Cargo Commerce Plus builds on the standard model and adds Adaptive Cruise Control, Keyless entry, Park Assist Plus with memory function, rear-view camera, multi-function leatherette steering wheel, heated windshield, Discover Pro navigation with a 10-inch display, and a multitude of driver assistance systems such as VW’s Travel Assist, Lane Assist, Side Assist, and Emergency Assist.

Underpinning the ID. Buzz Cargo is the VW Group’s flexible MEB platform. It is 4,712 mm (185.5 inches) long, 1,985 mm (78.2 inches) wide, and has a 2,988 mm (118 inch) wheelbase.

British customers have eight different exterior colors to choose from, consisting of Candy White, Lime Yellow, Energetic Orange, Starlight Blue, Bay Leaf Green, Mono Silver, Deep Black, and a two-tone combining Candy White with Starlight Blue.

All ID. Buzz Cargo models come standard with a 77 kWh battery pack and a single electric motor with 201 hp driving the front wheels. VW UK says it can travel up to 256 miles (413 km) on the combined WLTP cycle and that the battery can be charged to 80 per cent capacity in approximately 30 minutes through a 170 kW charger.
