Genesis today announced the U.S. pricing for its flagship luxury sedan, the G90. The car will come well-appointed as standard with a host of luxury amenities and technologies and it starts at $88,400.
That price means it costs more than the 2022 Audi A8, which starts at $86,500. The 2022 Lexus LS, meanwhile, starts at $76,000. Genesis, though, is attempting to fill its model with luxury as standard to compete with its rivals.
For $88,400, buyers get a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 375 hp (280 kW/380 PS) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque, which goes to all four wheels. It also comes with Genesis‘ full suite of Highway Driving Assist safety and driver assistance features as standard.

The sedan also has a “mood curator” mode, which enables things like the ambient lighting, the sound system, the fragrance system, the electric curtains, and the massaging seats to create a mood within the vehicle for optimal comfort.
Other highlights include electronically controlled suspension, a panoramic sunroof, power door closure, three-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster as well as a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, wireless device charging, and more.
For $98,700, meanwhile, you can get the G90 3.5T AWD with 48V e-Supercharger. That pumps the power up to 409 hp (305 kW/415 PS) and 405 lb-ft (549 Nm) of torque. It also adds new technologies, such as Multi-Chamber Air suspension and rear-wheel-steering, for a sumptuous ride.
Passengers are treated to a 3D-surround sound experience that can recreate the sound characteristics of a specific space, such as the Boston Symphony Hall. It creates the soundscapes thanks to 26 Bang & Olufsen speakers that can also minimize in-car noise thanks to a sound-deadening features.
