Maserati has confirmed that the all-new Grecale SUV will touch down on Australian shores in the first quarter of 2023.
The Italian car manufacturer has announced that it will offer local buyers three different variants of the Grecale, consisting of the GT, Modena, and Trofeo. While official specifications and pricing details haven’t been announced, recently-leaked dealer bulletins have revealed all Aussies could want to know about the SUV.
Powering the entry-level Maserati Grecale GT will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that pumps out 221 kW (296 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. Wheels understands this variant will start at AU$109,500 ($76,869) and include key standard features such as a mechanical differential, single-rate suspension, 19-inch wheels, matte grey brake calipers, full LED headlights, leather upholstery, aluminum door sills, a 14-speaker Sonus Faber audio system, and DAB radio.

One step up in the range will bring shoppers to the Grecale Modena. This model features the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder 48-volt mild-hybrid but it has been upgraded to produce 242 kW (325 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). Prices for this variant are expected to start at AU$128,000 ($89,856).
It adds a host of parts not found on the GT, including quad exhausts, a limited-slip differential, adaptive Skyhook suspension, 20-inch forged wheels, black painted brake calipers, heated front seats, 14-way sport power seats, full premium leather upholstery, three-zone climate control, and ambient lighting.
Topping out the Grecale range will be the Trofeo. It features the automaker’s 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 Nettuno engine from the MC20, now producing 390 kW (523 hp) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft). Prices should start at AU$165,000 ($115,830) and among the key features of it include an upgraded braking system with red painted calipers, 3D carbon fiber trim throughout, a leather steering wheel in forged black, rear privacy glass, laminated glass, and a panoramic sunroof.
