Porsche’s newest 911 GT3 RS looks to embody the “race car for the road” philosophy more than ever before, and now, you can customize one for yourself on the official configurator.
We decided to spec our car in a paint-to-sample Yachting Blue with forged magnesium wheels in silver. Along with those wheels comes the necessary addition of the Weissach Package, which includes carbon fiber replacements of multiple exterior components, in addition to certain suspension components made of the material as well. We also opted for silver “GT3 RS” side decals, as well as carbon ceramic brakes with yellow calipers for a little pop of color.

While our configuration was more on the subtle side, thanks to Porsche‘s extensive Paint to Sample catalog, there’s also plenty of eye-catching color options. And with the option to have your wheels painted gold, red, or blue in addition to the regular blacks and silvers, the boldness options only increase. Throw in the option to add matching red or blue side decals, and you have a recipe for some pretty unique specs. For fun, we tried to make the most bizarre color combination we could, the results of which can be seen below.

With 518 hp (525 PS / 386 kW) from a naturally aspirated flat-six, wildly complex aero, and highly customizable drive modes (cabin-adjustable suspension damping, differential maps, rear wing angle, etc.), the new GT3 RS looks to be a formidable vehicle on just about any stretch of road.
But that begs the question: how would you spec your GT3 RS? Show us your build in the comments.
