The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado will be reportedly available with more than 200 accessories from launch.

Muscle Cars & Trucks learned of Chevrolet’s plans for the new Colorado while speaking with the carmaker. Not only will the complete range of available accessories swell but approximately 20 of these are expected to be off-road-oriented, more than double than what was available for the outgoing Colorado.

While Chevrolet has not yet announced the full scope of accessories for the Colorado, some of them are featured on the Colorado ZR2 with the Desert Boss package. This package adds 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, an off-road bumper with a brush guard, a sports bar, rock sliders, a roof-mounted light bar, an underbody camera, and various decals.

Chevrolet has equipped the new Colorado with the same 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder as the Silverado. The entry-level version of this engine pumps out 237 hp and 259 lb-ft (351 Nm) of torque while the mid-range variant is good for 310 hp and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) of torque. Last but not least is the flagship version with the same 310 hp but 430 lb-ft (582 Nm). This flagship specification of the engine is only offered in the Colorado ZR2.

Underpinning the 2023 Colorado is a new platform that supports a 131.4-inch (3,338 mm) wheelbase. The new truck also sports a 5’ 2” bed with eight cargo tie-downs, two motorcycle/bicycle tire grooves, and a plethora of pockets. There is also a storage compartment neatly integrated into the tailgate.

Dramatic changes have also been made to the interior of the pickup. Among the key features include an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.3-inch infotainment display with available Google integration, and an available off-road performance application that displays things like pitch, roll, and tire pressure information.
