This is the ‘Sovrana,’ an extensively modified version of the Maserati MC20 brought to life by tuning experts DMC.

To our eyes, the Maserati MC20 is one of the most gorgeous supercars launched recently, and certainly not one that needs any alterations. DMC obviously thinks differently and has designed a bold bodykit for the Italian supercar that makes it look a touch more aggressive without going over the top.

The modifications start at the front end where DMC has designed a new splitter for the MC20 that adds to its suave looks. There is also a new carbon fiber grille as well as a set of additional air intakes and outlets incorporated into the hood.

DMC has also developed new door sills for the Italian supercar and equipped it with a bold new carbon fiber rear diffuser. Speaking of the rear, it also sports a large fixed wing that promises to help stick the rear wheels to the pavement.

A set of forged aluminum wheels have also been fitted, measuring 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear, wrapped in 255/30 front and 305/30 rear tires.

The tuner has also made some upgrades to the MC20’s 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged 90-degree V6 engine. In stock form, this engine is good for 621 hp and 397 lb-ft (538 Nm) of torque, but the fitment of a new air filter, a sports exhaust system, and a tweaked ECU means it is now good for 715 hp and 476 lb-ft (646 Nm) of torque, figures close to the 710 hp and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of the Ferrari F8 Tributo with its larger 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8.

Maserati MC20 owners who send their cars to DMC can also have the interior updated with new hard-wearing leather with chequered stitching and new aluminum pedals.
