G-Power is venturing into the world of Lamborghini tuning following its release of an upgrade package for the Urus.
The German tuner is best known for tweaking and modifying BMW M models and in more recent years, has also grown its portfolio to include vehicles from Mercedes-AMG and Porsche. The changes it has made to the Lamborghini Urus follow a similar formula to those of its other creations.
For starters, G-Power has worked on the super SUV’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and tuned the ECU software. In stock form, the engine is good for 650 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, but G-Power’s tweaks lift this to 740 hp and 700 lb-ft (950 Nm). For Urus customers seeking even more power, G-Power offers an upgrade package that couples the ECU tweaks with new downpipes and sports catalytic converters, meaning it now churns out 780 hp and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque.

G-Power is also developing a third tuning kit for the Urus that will replace the standard charge air coolers with larger ones, adding an additional 50 hp.
Some small visual modifications have also been made to the Urus presented. The most obvious change are the fitment of 24-inch wheels at all four corners, complete with matte black spokes and orange outer rims, ensuring the SUV really stands out on the road.
Elsewhere, the satin black Urus has been equipped with orange accents along the rocker panels and front splitter. It also rocks an enlarged rooftop-mounted spoiler and a more pronounced carbon fiber diffuser.
G-Power has yet to release full pricing specifications for its range of Urus upgrades.
