It’s not just fancy European luxury brands that can partner with watchmakers. Detroit’s very own Lincoln is partnering with Shinola, another famed Motor City brand, to create a limited run of timepieces celebrating its centenary.
“As we celebrate 100 years with another iconic brand who is equally committed to craftsmanship, design and artistry, we are proud to showcase our combined approach to luxury with these Shinola watches – a memento to mark Lincoln’s anniversary,” said Michael Sprague, North America director, Lincoln.
Inspired by the success of the Aviator Shinola Concept, the watchmaker will produce 500 Runwell Automatic and 500 Runwell Sport Chronographs as part of this partnership. Both will feature the Lincoln logo engraved on the case back at 6:00 and all come in a Lincoln 100 Years wooden watch box.

The Runwell Sport Chronograph features a custom Lincoln branded second hand sub-eye. The 48 mm men’s timepiece features rose gold details on the bezel, while the dials and hands feature a black and rose gold motif. This was inspired by the copper accents used in the Aviator Shinola Concept. To complete the look, the watch is available with a leather strap that sports the Lincoln logo stamped in the tip.
The Shinola Runwell Automatic also features a custom Lincoln branded seconds sub-eye, but its case is finished in stainless steel and the leather strap features the automaker’s logo. The 39.5 mm unisex watch has a black vellum-textured dial and rose gold numbers.

The Shinola Runwell Sport Chronograph is being sold for $1,100 and the Runwell Automatic costs $1,300 through Lincoln’s merchandise page.
