Very rarely do we see SUVs being turned into pickup trucks, let alone ones with six wheels. Even rare than that, though, is this Volvo XC60 that was turned into a six-wheeled pickup.
The Volvo was spotted at Sweden’s Stockholm Cruising, where it could be seen among a parade of other Swedish, German, and American cars. According to Motor1, the bizarre vehicle was created by a Swedish company called Dalbo Fordonsteknik, who in addition to this six-wheeled XC60, has also made a four-wheeled XC70 pickup and a six-wheeled XC90.

But going back to the XC60, the most notable changes over the standard SUV include an extra axle, a sizeable bed with sail panels, rear window louvers, an LED light bar, and a brush guard at the front. And unlike other four-wheeled pickup conversions, which just cut and reshape the bodywork surrounding the cargo area, this one necessitated adding extra bodywork as well. Essentially, after chopping off all body panels north of the beltline and reshaping the rear windows, they essentially had to add a second rear end to the vehicle.
Additionally, according to the video, in which it’s referred to as a “6×6”, all six of the Volvo’s wheels are driven, and while that would only add to this vehicle’s impressive craftsmanship, nothing’s actually confirmed regarding the drivetrain.
